Deadline Approaching to for Public Input in First-Ever Trinity Regional Flood Plan

Dallas-Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – The first-ever Trinity Regional Flood Planning Group is asking for public input to help identify areas most prone to flood damage.

It’s all part of a statewide effort tackle infrastructure issues and flood mitigation after the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey nearly 4 years ago.

Through Saturday North Texans can access an interactive online map to pinpoint flooding concerns in their communities.

The information will be used to develop an initial draft of a regional flood plan that will be submitted to Texas Water Development Board.

To access the map click here and create login information in the box that reads, ‘Member of the Public.’
