FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF)- Friday, July 16, the Tarrant Area Food Bank (TAFB), in partnership with the City of Fort Worth and The Kroger Co. Zero Hunger | Zero Waste Foundation are unveiling the Resources and Education Delivered (RED) Bus, providing community resource assistance, nutrition education and healthy food options to Fort Worth communities with high levels of food insecurity, as identified by the recent Tarrant County Retail Food Environment Report.
Also happening on site will be a COVID vaccination pop-up to both educate and/or vaccinate those in the community who may have questions or have not had the opportunity, until now, to get vaccinated.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 9:30 am at Evans Avenue Plaza, 1050 Evans Ave, Fort Worth, 76104
