Dallas Truck Driver Will Not Face Possible Death Sentence

Lewisburg, PA (WBAP/KLIF) – A Dallas long haul truck driver apparently will not face a possible death penalty if he is convicted of first degree murder in the killing of a woman whose body was found beside an interstate highway earlier this year. Pennsylvania prosecutors decided not to request capital punishment for 29 year old Tracy Rollins, Jr. Rollins is accused of murdering a New York City woman who was shot 18 times, then dumped on the side of Interstate 80 in Pennsylvania. He was arrested a few days later in Connecticut. Rollins remains jailed without bail, awaiting trial in Pennsylvania.
