ADDISON (WBAP/KLIF) – Kaboom Town in Addison is inviting spectators back to Addison Circle after holding a virtual show last year amid COVID concerns.

The fireworks show has been held in Addison for more than three decades and has been recognized as one of the best in the country.

Addison Circle Park will be open to limited capacity. Tickets were sold out as of Thursday, according to the Town of Addison. But, the celebration is citywide, with watch parties at many of the local restaurants.

“We will be at 75% of a normal event,” said Town of Addison Director of Special Events, Jasmine Lee. “And we will have some extra room for people to sit and spread out. There won’t be a carnival. In its place there will be open seating to allow guests to have a little more room to spread out.”

The 25-minute-long fireworks show begins at 9:30 p.m. on July 3.
