Critics Say Kamala Harris Should’ve Visited the Rio Grande

(WBAP/KLIF) — Critics are calling on Vice President Kamala Harris to visit the Rio Grande Valley, the busiest sector along the border.

Fox’s Alex Hogan says the increase in border apprehensions are up by 267% in El Paso, while the Rio Grande Valley is up 406%.  Many migrants cross the U.S. – Mexico border at one particular location.

Brush near the border in the Rio Grande Valley is often littered with discarded clothing from migrants who swam across the Rio Grande river.  Border agents say the ground is also marked with wristbands, as cartels that control smuggling routes can make $2,500 per person crossing into the U.S.
