NEW YORK (WBAP/KLIF News) – Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s law license has been suspended.
The Appellate Division of the New York Supreme Court ruled Thursday that the suspension was due in part to “There is uncontroverted evidence that the responded communicated demonstrably false and misleading statements to courts, lawmakers and the public at large in his capacity as lawyer for former President Donald J. Trump’s failed effort at reelection in 2020,” the Division wrote.
The court said its an “interim” suspension, so Giuliani will have a chance to appeal the ruling and be reinstated.
