DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Federal unemployment benefits tied to Covid-19 are coming to an end.
Benefits will end Saturday in the state of Texas. In may, Gov. Greg Abbott, announced that Texas was opting out of federal unemployment compensation, which includes $300 weekly payments. This is expected to affect roughly 500,000 Texans.
Abbot’s team is pointing folks to the 850,000 jobs that are posted on mytxcareer.com.
