Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – Three Medstar crew member were among those injured when the ambulance they were riding in was hit and knocked over by another vehicle.
The accident happened at the intersection of Hemphill and I-820 in Fort Worth on Sunday afternoon.
Medstar says their crew was responding to an emergency call with sirens and lights blaring, when a car drove through an intersection and hit their vehicle knocking it onto its side.
The driver of the car was also hurt; all four were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
Medstar says the incident serves as a reminder of the need to be continuously aware of emergency vehicles.
