
Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly smashed his pricey Mazerati into the bak of an off-duty police officer’s vehicle early this morning and then left the crash scene in a different vehicle.
Police said around 3 a.m. the an Edgewood officer was in a marked police vehicle near I-635 at Plano Road when the crash happened; he was blocking traffic for a construction site at the time.
The officer, who was inside the vehicle was taken to a hospital where he is expected to be okay.
No further details have been released.
