H-E-B Breaking Ground On New Stores in Plano and Frisco This Week

NORTH TEXAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Construction on two new H-E-B grocery stores will kick off in North Texas this week.

Crews are breaking ground on the Frisco location on the northwest Legacy Drive and Main Street Thursday, June 3rd, and will host a similar ceremony in Plano on the southwest corner of Preston Road and Spring Creek Parkway Friday, June 4th.

H-E-B has a long history in Texas but the Frisco and Plano stores will be the first in the Metroplex.

It was founded in the Hill Country more than a century ago expanding its stores some of Texas’ largest cities including Houston, Austin, San Antonio and has locations down in Mexico.

The stores are scheduled to open in the fall of 2022.
