Denton, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – Denton fire officials say a 45-year old woman is jailed on arson charges in connection with two recent fires.
Jackie Spillane allegedly set a blaze that destroyed the holiday lodge motel on may 20, displacing 12 residents and causing an estimated 250-thousand dollars in damage.
Spillane lane is also linked to a structure fire early monday at 720 w. University Drive, behind Drug Emporium.
The fire damaged the exterior of the building.
Spillane has a criminal record dating back to 2002 on charges ranging from theft, public intoxication, criminal mischief and criminal trespass.
