Re-Opening Texas…the right call!

(WBAP/KLIF) — Texas Governor Greg Abbott had a different approach to the pandemic than his Democratic counterparts. In Texas, COVID cases continue to decline and the economy is accelerating.

Texas ended its mask mandate in March, prompting criticism from President Joe Biden. Following what the president called “neanderthal thinking” in regards to Texas lifting its mask mandate, the Lone Star State reported zero Coronavrus deaths for the first time in more than a year.

Abbott says Texas followed the science of the virus spread instead of political narratives.  In early March, Texas became the first state to lift mask mandates and restaurant capacity limits.

Some critics of the GOP governor are crediting such factors as weather, vaccinations, and CDC guideline adherence.
