Granbury Mayor Nin Hulett’s DWI Charge Upgraded to Felony Due to Prior Arrests

GRANBURY (WBAP/KLIF News) – Granbury Mayor Nin Hulett is facing more legal trouble in the wake of a DWI arrest last month.

Hood County Sheriff Roger Deeds said prosecutors upgraded the drunken driving charge to a felony after learning he has two previous DWI arrests.

Hulett was re-booked into the Hood County Jail Monday.

The mayor was initially charged with a DWI class B misdemeanor when Granbury Police arrested him in the 600 block of East Pearl Street April 25th.

Hulett nor the City of Granbury have issued statements on the upgraded charges.
