Undated (WBAP/KLIF) – North Texas voters settled a number of outstanding issues in Saturday’s elections, but not all of them. The race in U.S. Congressional District 6 to pick a replacement for Ron Wright who died of COVID-19 in February will have to be decided in a June 5 runoff between his widow, Susan Wright, and fellow Republican Jake Ellzey. The race for Fort Worth Mayor will also have to be decided in a runoff between Deborah Peoples and Mattie Parker. Eight of 11 incumbents running for re-election to the Dallas City Council were returned to their positions. The remaining 6 Dallas City Council seats are going to runoffs.
