
Dallas-Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – A number of North Texas gun dealers have been targeted by thieves in the past two weeks.
42 guns were stolen from three different gun dealers according to the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco & Firearms.
Republic Arsenal in Coppell; Elliot White Gun Company in North Richland Hills; and

SK Arms in Flower Mound have been hit.
Surveillance video shows that a red Ford Escape (pictured right) has been linked to at least two of the burglaries.
Sara Abel, spokesperson for the ATF-Dallas Field Division told WFAA-TV that the agency is asking the publics help to find the suspects because stolen firearms are often subsequently used in violent crimes.
A 10-thousand dollar reward has been offered for information leading to arrests, by the ATF and The National Shooting Sports Foundation.

The burglaries come on the heels of the controversial Texas House passed pemitless carry bill; the bill currently does not have enough votes to pass the Texas Senate.
