MESQUITE (WBAP/KLIF News) – Mesquite Police are asking the public to help catch several suspects in the deadly shooting of a Lyft driver earlier this week.
58-year-old Robert Barry of Granbury was driving a passenger when he was shot on the ramp from northbound I-635 to westbound I-30 near Town East Mall on Tuesday around 7:30 p.m.
The passenger told police after the shooting, Barry crashed his white 2020 Kia due to his injuries.
The passenger was not injured.
Mesquite Police Sgt. Mark Bradford said there’s no indication that this was a road rage incident.
Crime Stoppers is offering an up to $5,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
