
Seagoville, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – A Plano man has been arrested in connection with a staged abduction stemming from an Amber Alert issued early Monday.
Seagoville Police early Monday issued an Amber Alert for two East Texas girls — 16-year old Devany Betancourt and 17-year old Marina Nelson (pictured right) — after the girls were were reported missing on Sunday night.

KLTV in Tyler reports that surveillance video corroborates tips that the alleged abduction of the girls was planned.
So far one of two males linked to the incident has been arrested. 20-year old Jose Penaloza-Estrada of Plano (pictured left) had rented a hotel room in Plano on the day of the alleged abduction, according to police.
Police said that the girls had been at a flea market on Sunday afternoon where they lost contact with their adult chaperone. They were found in the hotel Monday night unharmed and were never in any danger.
