Austin (WBAP/KLIF) – Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is publicly warning a political action committee founded by Democrat Beto O’Rourke to watch its step. Paxton wants the “Powered By People” PAC to turn over to his office a list of COVID-19 vaccine events it sponsored, and explain how it collected and used any personal information it collected. Paxton says it would be illegal for O’Rourke’s group to use that information to register voters. O’Rourke says they didn’t register voters, they registered senior citizens in poor neighborhoods for the COVID-19 vaccine.
