IRVING (WBAP/KLIF) – A North Texas mother is jailed in the killings of her two young daughters.
Officers arrested and charged 30-yearold Madison McDonald this week after they said she admitted to killing her daughters, 1-year-old Lillian Mae McDonald and 6-year-old Archer Hammond.
According to Police, on Monday, at approximately 10:00 p.m. McDonald went to the Irving Police Department and used the phone in the lobby to dial 911. McDonald told dispatch that she had killed her two daughters. Officers were dispatched to the lobby and her residence located in the 700 block of Cowboys Parkway.
“Officers at the home confirmed both daughters were deceased,” Officer Robert Reeves said. “McDonald is charged with two counts of Capital Murder of a Person under 10 years of age.”
Reeves said there isn’t a clear motive yet, and insisted the investigation is still in its early stages. The Irving Police Department is requesting anyone with information to contact (972) 273-1010.
