Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Two Dallas Police officers were injured early Saturday morning when a suspected drunk driver ran into their squad car. The officers were at an accident scene, blocking the left and middle lanes of northbound I-35E near Overton Road with their emergency lights on when they were rammed by a vehicle that neither slowed down nor moved over. They were hospitalized for treatment of their injuries. The 28 year old driver of the car that hit them was arrested for D.W.I., and taken to jail.
