DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) –Billions of dollars in electric overcharges are in danger of not be refunded from the winter storm in February if the legislature or governor don’t act soon.
“We need to correct it. It’s wrong. You just can’t walk down the road and say maybe it was wrong; maybe it was right,” according to Texas Lt. Dan Patrick.
He says the State Senate has already passed a bill that supports the refund correction, but is waiting on the Governor of House Speaker Dade Phelan to take action.
The Public Utility Commission is already in hot water after its recently appointed chair, Arthur D’Andrea resigned in connection with a recently released audio tape connecting him to Wall Street bankers.
