Vaccine Eligibility Expands

Undated (WBAP/KLIF) – As of today (Monday) any person over the age of 50 is eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine in Texas. Collin, Dallas, Denton, and Tarrant Counties are opening their wait lists to anyone 50 and over who wishes to be inoculated. Applicants can register through the county websites, or by telephone. Those who have been vaccinated are expected to get some level of protection within a couple of weeks after the first shot, but full protection may not happen until a couple of weeks after the second shot depending on the type of vaccine they receive.
