Dallas-Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – Big fitness centers chains in the Dallas plan to open at 100% capacity, and nix their mask requirements tomorrow; while some others will continue with COVID safety requirements.
Gold’s Gym and Life Time will only require masks and regular temperature checks for their workers. Guests will be “encouraged” to wear masks and to follow other safety recommendations, according to the Dallas Morning News.
Dallas-based Gold’s Gym will also open its saunas once again.
Meantime after conferring with health professionals, the Dallas YMCA will continue safety protocols at all of its 19 branches.
24 Hour Fitness’ two Dallas locations will establish mask and mask-free zones.
