(WBAP/KLIF) — Prosecutors filed a second murder charge against a Texas woman accused of killing an expectant mother and removing her baby.
28-year-old Taylor Parker was originally charged with murder and kidnapping in the death of 21 year old Regan Michelle Simmons-Hancock. On Thursday, a Bowie grand jury also charged Parker in the death of the woman’s child.
After allegedly killing the woman, Parker removed the baby from the victim’s womb. she was later stopped by a Texas state trooper near the Oklahoma state line with the baby on her lap. The baby girl later died at an Oklahoma hospital.
