NEW BOSTON (WBAP/KLIF News) – A Texas woman jailed on kidnapping and murder charges for the brutal slaying of a pregnant New Boston woman and the removal of her baby is now facing a second murder charge, according to the Associated Press.
The Texarkana Gazette reports, a Bowie County grand jury on Thursday indicted 28-year-old Taylor Parker for murder in the death of Reagan Hancock’s child.
In October of 2020, The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said Parker, who was an acquaintance of Hancock’s, had been arrested on charges of first-degree murder and kidnapping charges.
OSBI said Parker was arrested in Oklahoma and claimed to have given birth along the highway, telling first responders her baby wasn’t breathing, according to People.
After first refusing to be checked out, doctors discovered that Parker had not given birth and investigators said she eventually admitted to the crime.
Hancock’s baby died at the hospital.
