DFW AIRPORT (WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas Fort Worth International Airport was given over $60-million in federal grant money to help to COVID-19 relief.

Senator John Cornyn’s office announced the grant money Monday.

“Quality transportation services are vital for boosting local economic growth, and now, more than ever, we must ensure airports have the support they need,” Cornyn said in a statement.

The funding comes from the latest round of COVID relief that Congress passed and former President Donald Trump signed in December of last year.
