Five-Alarm Fire Destroys Tarrant County Plant

(WBAP/KLIF) — Three people were injured during a massive fire at a Richland Hills recycling plant, Thursday.  Eight North Texas fire departments responded to the blaze at the Advanced Foam Recycling plant south of Highway 121 in Richland Hills, Thursday afternoon.

The fire, which could be seen for up to 30 miles across the Metroplex, destroyed the plant and injured three workers, one of which was hospitalized.  No word on the condition of the victim.

The Fort Worth Fire Department says investigators are still trying to determine what sparked the five-alarm blaze.
