Denton County, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – After shutting down for several days last week, the Texas Motor Speedway COVID-19 vaccine hub will reopen tomorrow for second dose shots.
Denton County health officials have prioritized second dose appointments which officials say are in limited supply right now.
22-thousand 2nd-dose shots will be administered on Wednesday Thursday and Friday.
Denton County will resume first dose appointments next Monday, March 1st.
All appointments must be made through the DCPH Vaccine Interest Portal.
2nd dose vaccine schedule at TMS:
Wednesday – 6:30 a.m.-12 p.m. (3,000 shots)
Thursday – 6:30 a.m.-6 p.m. (11,000 shots)
Friday – 6:30 a.m.-6 p.m. (9,000 shots)
