Oncor Moving to Restore Power to North Texans

(WBAP/KLIF) — Oncor is making minimal headway on restoring power to North Texans.  A recent update issued by the electric company indicates 145,000 customers are still without power, down 5,000 from early Thursday morning.

63,000 of the outages are the result of Monday’s storm, which Oncor believes should be restored by Friday evening.  82,000 customers lost power due to the second storm on Wednesday. No word on when those customers, most of which are near Palestine, will see power restored.

Oncor crews are working around the clock to restore electricity to North Texans affected by the winter storms.
