Mi Cocina and Klyde Warren Park Team to Help a Good Cause

Dallas (WBAP / KLIF) Mi Cocina, the successful Tex-Mex restaurant chain, will open a ‘Mi Cocina in the Park’ location and part of its proceeds will help an array of good causes.

The location will be in Klyde Warren Park and it will open in September.

The park is built over the Woodall Rogers Freeway next to the Arts District in downtown Dallas.

Park president Kit Sawyers says it’s a match that benefits both the park and the famous restaurant because some proceeds from restaurant sales will benefit the non-profit park.

Kit also says you can get spoiled as you can have Tex-Mex plates brought to you as you sit on a blanket in the park.

Klyde Warren Park provides more than 1,300 free educational, health and community building programs each year.
