North Texas Woman Invited To The Biden-Harris Inauguration

Nashville (WBAP/KLIF) – A former soccer star at Wylie High School, who recently became the first woman to score a point in a Power Five Conference college football game has been invited to attend Wednesday’s inauguration of President-Elect Joe Biden, and Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris in Washington, DC. In-person attendance at the inauguration will be strictly curtailed because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and security measures put in place after a riot at the U.S. capitol on January 6. Sarah Fuller scored an extra point kick in a December 12 game, playing for Vanderbilt against Tennessee. She says she’s honored by the invitation, and will be there. Fuller plans to transfer to the University of North Texas in the fall, and join the women’s soccer program there.
