Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas County’s health director says in the two days since they launched a website to let residents register for COVID-19 vaccines, nearly 50,000 have signed up. Dr. Philip Huang says they’re preparing to expand the vaccination program from the current phase 1-A, which targets health care workers and nursing home residents, into phase 1-B, which includes the elderly and those with underlying medical conditions. Dr. Huang says vaccine supplies remain extremely limited so the innoculations won’t be available immediately. The signup list is their way of preparing for the day when they are fully stocked.
