(WBAP/KLIF) — One woman was killed and three deputies wounded in a Houston nightclub shooting early Sunday morning.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez says the three deputies were working a second job when they responded to the shooting and were shot by 25-year-old Joseph Anthony Gonzalez.. All three are expected to survive.
A spokesman for the city’s police department says Gonzalez sought treatment for a gunshot wound at a Sugarland hospital and was subsequently arrested.
The shooting comes less than a day after a Harris County sergeant died following a crash on his patrol motorcycle.
