(WBAP/KLIF) — Texas Governor Greg Abbott and the state’s top health official are urging vaccine providers not to hold doses in reserve in order to facilitate a rapid distribution.
Texas is seeing record-breaking virus hospitalizations and newly confirmed cases.
State health commissioner Dr. Fohn Hellerstedt said, Tuesday, that providers need to move quickly to vaccinate healthcare workers, those over 65 and residents with preexisting medical conditions.
