ASSOCIATED PRESS – (WBAP/KLIF) – A flurry of activity is underway at European borders now, as a new and much more highly transmissible strain of Covid 19 is ravaging Southern England, London proper, and sickening thousands more in South Africa.
To that end, France joins other nations including Belgium, Italy, and the Netherlands, in prohibiting trains and other travel from the United Kingdom, or is looking at instituting travel bans as such.
Health officials say they do believe the vaccines being produced and rolled out now are just as effective against this mutated Covid 19 virus, but because it transfers so much more easily than the original Covid 19 viruses we’ve dealt with to date, it’s damage could be incalculable.
