TEXAS CITY – Associated Press (WBAP/KLIF) – A private autopsy on the body of a 22 year old man shot dead at the hands of police appears to show the man died of a single gunshot to his back.
22 year old Joshua Feast died December 9th, reportedly shot by La Marque police officer Jose Santos. Civil Rights Attorney Benjamin Crump is now representing the family of Feast, and says the autopsy results mirror information about the shooting offered by witnesses; Feast was running from police when he was shot.
Officer Santos is currently on paid leave; Crump wants him terminated. The Galveston County Sheriff’s Department and District Attorney’s office are investigating this case.
