Accused Terrorist Pleads Guilty

San Antonio (WBAP/KLIF) – A South Carolina man has pleaded guilty in a San Antonio court to terrorism charges. Kristopher Matthews admitted plotting with Jaylyn Molina, a resident of a small town about 70 miles east of San Antonio, to bomb or shoot up a number of sites including the White House and Trump Tower in New York City. Mathews made his plea during a court hearing in San Antonio Tuesday. He said he and Molina were inspired by the Islamic State Group. Mathews will be sentenced March 4, and faces up to 20 years in federal prison. Molina is awaiting trial.
