DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – COVID-19 has claimed the life of a Dallas Police Sergeant.
48-year-old Sergeant Bronc McCoy died Wednesday at a local hospital. According to family members, McCoy was battling COVID-19 and was showing signs of recovery. But his fight took a turn for the worse earlier this month when his sister said he had a stroke and was put on a ventilator.
Dallas Police Chief Renee Hall called Sgt. McCoy a “dedicated” and “outstanding” Officer.
Our deepest condolences goes out to one of our own, Sergeant Bronc McCoy. He was an outstanding officer who dedicated his life serving others. Please keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.
