Three Murders, Part of A Barrage of Gun Violence in Dallas Over Weekend

(WBAP/KLIF) — Gun violence was wide spread throughout Dallas over the weekend.

11 separate shootings from Friday overnight through Sunday evening in Dallas left three people dead, including a 57-year-old-man who was just sitting in his car near the intersection of Clarendon and Beckley on the city’s south side when he was shot just before 9 p.m. Saturday night.

The deadly weekend follows the shooting well-known rapper Boosie who was shot early Friday afternoon in the leg, and was in town to pay tribute to fellow rapper Mo3, who himself was gunned down and killed Wednesday. .

The city of Dallas has already eclipsed the 209 homicides from 2019 with still more than a month left the year.
