Denton(WBAP/KLIF) —Election day isn’t over for one Texas senate district.
When the vote tallies were done on November 3rd less than 200 votes separated State Rep. Drew Springer and private business owner Shelley Luther for the right to represent Texas Senate District 30, which covers much of north Texas.
Luther was the salon owner who garnered media attention in the spring, after being jailed for refusing to close her business despite COVID restrictions.
Springer, currently covers house district 68 in the Texas House.
Early voting beginning December 9th with election day set for December 19th.
