Dallas-Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – Stephen Love, CEO of the Dallas- Fort Worth Hospital Council is concerned about an uptick in COVID-19 hospitalizations across North Texas
As of Monday, almost 17-hundred North Texans were hospitalized with coronavius. Love told WFAA-TV, “This is a very serious situation ”
The numbers cover Collin, Dallas, Denton, Tarrant and Grayson counties.
“Put in perspective, this represent about 85% of where we were at the very highest level in July,” Love added that with the weather getting colder and the holiday season coming up, numbers could spike even higher.
Meantime Cook Children’s reported 3 COVID patients on Monday;
While most children don’t suffer severe cases, they are capable of spreading the virus.
To date, Cook’s has tested over 44,000 children; over 2500 of them have tested positive.
