FRISCO(WBAP/KLIF)-A political mailer is causing one Frisco city council candidate to defend herself and faith
Frisco city council candidate Sadaf Haq is condemning a recent mailer that appears to come from Muslim supporters.
“It’s painting me to be this scary, radical Muslim who is going to try and take over Frisco. And it’s just this rhetoric that has been painted from a national level, a global level and it’s just wrong.”
The mailer comes form a Houston Texas address. Haq says her faith and her family are two things that off limits during a political campaign and that she has no idea who is sending the mailers.
Haq is in a race for Frisco City Council seat place 6 between incumbent Brian Livingston and challenger Sai Krishna.
