Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – According to a new Dallas Morning News and UT-Tyler poll, Former Vice President Joe Biden is leading President Trump in Texas 48%-45% among likely voters. That’s within the margin of error, but it’s also 5-points up from the last such polling last month. The democratic party is using the poll as an opening and Biden’s running mate Kamala Harris will be campaigning in Texas on Friday. On a call with reporters Sunday, Former Texas Governor Rick Perry said Trump is focused on battleground states and he insisted Texas is not one of them. Perry says Trump won’t make anymore campaign stops in Texas.
