Austin (AP) – With 10 days until the official election day, more than 6 million votes have already been cast in Texas. That’s more than in any other state in the country. The avalanche of early votes is feeding Democrats’ hopes, especially since polls show Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden running unusually close. President Trump won Texas by 9 percentage points in 2016, and so far has shown little worry about this year. He has been spending campaign time and money on more obvious battleground states. Voting ends November 3rd.
