Texas Man Indicted For Shooting Up Minneapolis Police Station

Minneapolis (WBAP/KLIF) – Federal prosecutors have accused a Texas man of shooting up a Minneapolis police station during a protest in May. The U.S. Attorney for Minnesota says Ivan Hunter of Boerne is charged with participating in a riot. Investigators say Hunter traveled from Boerne to Minneapolis to participate in a protest over George Floyd’s death. The indictment says Hunter fired at least 13 rounds from a semiautomatic rifle into the Minneapolis Police Department’s Third Precinct building while looters were inside. The indictment also says Hunter claims to be a member of the anti-government Boogaloo Bois.
