Tens Of Thousands Cast Ballots On First Day Of early Voting

Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas County’s Elections Department says the first day of early voting brought tens of thousands of voters to the polls. The count when the polls closed was 56,257 ballots cast in Dallas County. That, of course, does not include any of the other counties in Texas. The elections department says the polls were busiest during the 8:00 AM hour, and least busy just before closing at 7:00 PM. 55 to 64 year olds cast the most ballots. 18 to 24 year olds the least.
Early voting ends October 30.
