President Trump Talks Election, Coronavirus with Rush Limbaugh

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – President Donald Trump joined the Rush Limbaugh Show Friday on WBAP to discuss his health and key issues facing the U.S. ahead of the November Presidential election.

The President, who was diagnosed with COVID-19 last week, continued to tout the drug Regeneron as a “cure” for the coronavirus. The President himself said he was treated with the drug by his medical team and that it will be distributed across the country.

“We’re already starting the process,” he said. “There’s hundreds of thousands of viles being sent to hospitals across the country. People are going to get immediately better like I did.”

The President told Rush that before he took the drug he was headed into a bad phase of the virus.

“It wasn’t like with the kids where they get sniffles and are better two days later,” he insisted. “This looked like it was going to be a big deal, and that’s bad.”

Limbaugh asked the Commander-in-Chief about past and possible future debates with Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden. The President addressed last week’s Presidential debate where he was criticized for interruptions and name calling.

“I had to be rude because he was lying,” He said. “But if you look at most polls they say I won it with him.”

It’s possible the candidates will square off once more but Trump told Rush he doesn’t think debates mean that much in the big picture of an election.

On the issue of voting, President Trump said increased mail-in ballots in this election will be the second biggest political scandal in history. He said he expects voter fraud to be rampant with wide spread mail-in voting.

“Everyday you see scandal about the millions of ballots being sent out,” he said. “It’s the single biggest risk in this election.”

He referred to alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 election as the biggest political scandal in history.

The two hour conversation ended on the topic of coronavirus relief funding. Despite calling off negotiations in Congress earlier in the week the President said negotiations are ongoing. He said he’s pushing for more a bigger relief package for Americans than both Republicans and Democrats are.

“It was not their fault that China sent in the plague, and China is going to pay a big Price,” Trump said.

With weeks until the election the President emphasized that he’s feeling better than ever and urged voters to vote early and in person.
