AUSTIN (WBAP/KLIF) – Governor Abbott hinted at loosening more coronavirus restrictions with a social media post on Monday.
The Governor praised Texans for keeping COVID under control. He also Governor touted recent statistics surrounding the virus.
“The hospitalizations, number of new positive cases, and positivity rate remain contained,” he tweeted. “Today was one of the lowest for fatalities in a long time.”
In the tweet, the Governor said he’ll be announcing more openings soon. Bars are still closed in Texas and restaurants are open at 75 percent capacity. He added a meme of two beer glasses clinking, with the word “Cheers!”
Texans have continued to keep COVID under control.
