KRUM (WBAP/KLIF News) – Students at Krum Middle and High Schools will be switching to remote learning Monday after two additional cases of COVID-19 were discovered.
The district’s COVID-19 dashboard shows four active cases at the middle school and three cases at the high school.
In a letter to students and their families, the district said the temporary switch will allow staff to take the proper precautions and conduct to contact tracing completely.
Each campus is in the process of being thoroughly cleaned.
Parents are asked to have students access their classes through Google Classroom for instructions from the teacher on how to access Zoom for remote learning.
“We realize that this requires a great deal of flexibility, but be assured that your child was provided instructions and class codes for each course at the beginning of the school year and has experience using this learning management system,” the district said.
Students are to asked to turn their work in through Google classroom today.
The district is asking parents to watch out for an email notices today to get the plans for the rest of the week.
Krum ISD students began classes August 19th.
