DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Temporary housing is now available for qualifying Dallas County residents who test positive for COVID-19.
The housing is meant for those infected with COVID-19 who could put others at serious risk by returning home too soon. According to Dallas County Medical Director Phil Huang, that could include sharing small living quarters with a chemo-therapy patient, elderly parents, or others vulnerable to the virus.
Patients are required to fill out a referral application.
“The referral has to come through a healthcare professional,” Huang insisted.
The sites will remain open until the end of December.
